- Ford & GM HAVE vehicles that would replace the 1/2, 3/4 & 1 ton trucks. They are beautiful machines (remember El Camino & Ranchero). They get better fuel efficiency than a truck. They come in 2WD or AWD. They even have a unit called the Tonner (Equal to a 1 ton truck).
